Elements of design included:

•          Photovoltaic solar collector panels

•          Tensile fabric structures on north and south to control shade

•          Energy-efficient mechanical and electrical systems

•          Full ADA accessibility to the facility

•          Water conservation integrated into exterior landscape and interior plumbing

•          85% of materials used are local products

•          An inviting community services building for the neighborhood
