St. Gregory High School

The high school project included a state-of-the-art performing arts center, kitchen, a students’ services center, administrative offices, and cafeteria. In its design plan, the firm used adobe walls, partial walls, and other elements to mirror the historic Fort Lowell neighborhood. A camp-like setting included clustered buildings, informal pathways, fire pit, ramadas, amphitheater for outdoor learning, and outdoor dining area. The school was designed to wrap around and preserve a mesquite bosque. In addition, a number of typically high-cost amenities were incorporated on a tight budget.
