Oro Valley Church of the Nazarene retained Albanese-Brooks Associates to complete their new sanctuary after the firm designed a master plan. The church’s stage is designed to hold a large instrumental area and choir risers as well as dramatic sets. The church incorporates all the latest technology for their services: two rear digital projection systems, sound space mezzanine, lighting catwalk, recording studio, lighting controls, and sound systems. The church and ABA Architects worked with an acoustical consultant on sound control. The sanctuary is also designed to expand in the future without changing the acoustical properties of the space.
